Make the hackathon International etc. Japan Google AI

Why this hackathon is only for Japanese residents etc.? I thought this platform is for international users and developers, etc.?

    Thank you so much for your interest! You are correct that Devpost is a Global platform for hosting and participating in hackathons. Those hackathons often are international, but can also be limited to a specific group, country, or demographic based on the goals or resources of the Sponsor.
    This hackathon is focused on connecting the community of Developers within Japan so the hackathon is only open to individuals who are legal residents of Japan.
