Is allowed us editing the project after submission?

Hi, I’m a participant in this hackathon and successfully submitted my project before the deadline, which is now displayed in the project gallery.

I would like to ask if I can edit details like the title, video URL, and project description through the "Edit project" option on my project page. According to the rules, I noticed the following:

> Once the Submission Period has ended, you may not make any changes or alterations to your Submission, but you may continue to update the Project in your Devpost portfolio.

> The modified Submission must remain substantively the same as the original Submission with the only modification being what the Sponsor and Devpost permits.

From this, it seems I can update the project description on this platform, but I am not allowed to modify the code of my project. Is my understanding correct?

Additionally, I would like to keep improving my product as I use my app for personal learning. In this case, am I allowed to modify the code in a different branch of my repository, provided that I don’t alter the submitted “Try it out” app?

    Hi there,

    These rules are correct. You cannot edit your project that was submitted but you can edit the project as it appears in your portfolio/. Any changes will not be reflected in your Project Submission, only in your portfolio.

    We ask you don't make any edits to your github repo until after the Winner Announcement in order to qualify for prizes.
